DATA API

The proprietary layer behind SubnetStats, as JSON

Prices, pool depth and raw extrinsics are on every Bittensor block explorer. Who is actually selling is not. The SubnetStats Data API serves the derived layer — the analysis built on top of the chain, across all 128 subnets, in JSON.

This is deliberately not a chain-data mirror. If a metric can be read straight off an explorer, it is not what you are paying for here. Read the API documentation for the full endpoint reference, authentication and response shapes.

01

What it returns

four families, all 128 subnets
Role-classified insider flow

Every trade tagged miner, validator, owner or outsider, resolved against the metagraph at the time of the trade. This is the layer that separates a subnet owner accumulating from miners recycling emissions — two flows a block explorer renders identically.

Cost-basis ladders

What each cohort actually paid to get in, and what share of them are underwater at the current price. Answers who is sitting on a loss and how far, rather than only what the price is now.

Exchange-flow attribution

TAO leaving self-custody, matched against known exchange wallets, so supply heading for a sale is distinguishable from supply merely being moved.

Signal verdicts

The same deterministic, rule-based read the site shows — bounce, overheated or neutral — with the underlying factor values that produced it. Same inputs, same verdict, every time; no model in the loop.

Getting started

bearer token · one endpoint index

Choose a plan below, generate a key from your account page, and send it as a bearer token. /api/v1 returns a machine-readable index of every endpoint available to your tier.

curl https://subnetstats.app/api/v1/screener \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_YOUR_KEY"

Keys are shown once and stored only as a hash — we cannot recover or resend one. Rate-limited requests do not consume monthly quota. Plans start at $199.99/month and every tier includes full web access, so there is no second subscription to buy.

Data API

programmatic access · paid only

The same proprietary layer behind The Table, the signal engine and the insider tape — as JSON, for building on. Role-classified insider flow, cost-basis ladders, exchange-flow attribution and signal verdicts. This is derived analysis, not a chain-data mirror: prices and pool depth are on any block explorer, and this is the part they cannot show. See the documentation.

Every API plan includes full web access. The dashboard, The Table and the insider tape in the browser as well as the JSON — there is no second subscription to buy. Already on Pro Analytics? Your unused time is deducted at checkout, before you pay — you will see the credit on the payment page — and the old plan ends the moment the API plan starts, so you are never billed for both. Switching between API tiers works the same way, and your key's limits update immediately.
